Blue Juice
February 08 2012 | Posted in Music, Fresh from the release of their new album, Company, and Big Day Out tour, left-of-centre pop act Blue Juice has woken from their well-earned slumber to share the Friday night bill with pop veterans Sneaky Sound System.
And rightly so. On the back of their break-out 2009 hit Broken Leg that catapulted them into mainstream consciousness, Blue Juice backed up the Head of the Hawk album with the release of Company last year and debut single Act Yr Age, which came in at No.20 on Triple Js Hottest 100.
Frontmen and best friends Jake and Stav, who liken their music to a futuristic re-encarnation of 1980s pop act Hall and Oats, are in the business of shock and awe when it comes to film clips and live performances, meaning their Friday night show is a must-see.
The energetic Sydney act is renowned for their on-stage antics and complete with a new and extended backing band, Blue Juice's quirky and poppy performance will be a highlight of the event.
